I know some here are on the edge of their seat waiting for the day to get a road bike w/disc brakes.
This is, by far, the best article I've read that discusses the very significant issues known for many decades regarding the use of Disc Brakes for this application.
A sneak peak on what it means in practice to be in the ADAMS whereabouts program from Cyclingtips. Interesting read.
Procycling (via CN) on Fenn, Battaglin, Henao, Kelderman, Durbridge.
Highlights: Henao is talented (we probably knew that), Battaglin's favorite TV show is Desperate Housewives (we probably didn't). And Wilco is the successor to Merckx - but don't worry kid, no pressure or anything.
I have a question for the pdc community, what service do you recommend for watching cycling online from the US? I have gone through the horrible glitches and disappointments of cycling.tv and have more recently been subscribing to Universal Sports (although I miss its free days). I'm fine watching live steams online from various sources, but too often I can't watch the race live and want to watch more than short highlights. So is Universal Sports the best option, or is there something better out there?
Taken so many photos from an awesome weekend at the London Olympic Velodrome. Ill write a fan post up at some point, and Im happy to post photos on request for riders/events. But as a taster - heres a moment Josiah Ng and Eoin Mullen would rather forget
What a race this has been, what a finish today. Great routes. In the diary for next year.
Mauricio was photographed riding his bike on the small road between his home and his mother's. He was accompanied by his dog Achilles. Good to see.
The Guardian news site reports that the Olympic organisers wants to charge fans coming to the Box Hill area to see the Road Race.

The race is close to City, so greed is good. Give me more now.
As we all know MSR is a big aim for Cav this year, and Greipel seems to have settled in very well to the Lotto set-up and is winning all over that place atm. Following his win today where liquigas pushed it on the uphill to remove the pure sprinters only to have Greipel win the stage is he to be considered for MSR? It is the 'sprinters classic' after all and it seems he has shown that he can climb as well as sprint formidably. Or does Cav's early season form and strong support give him enough advantage to win again?
Gotta love speculation!
