Looking at the list of already submitted teams, I couldn't help but laugh at a few of them. Never mind who is actually in your team - VDS will result in crushing disappointment for all but a few. But even if you don't win, at least you can have a cool team name.

Quatar, Oman, Laigueglia, Tour Méditerrannéen, Algarve or Ruta del Sol... It's all fine, I'll watch the races (if they're televised), I'll look at the results,... It's all good, but it doensn't really get me excited.
But riding past the hotel where the Garracuda guys stay, well, that really, really got me excited. I don't need a swallow to know it's spring. When the pro teams arrive in town, that's the real start of spring!

This is Holmovka’s FSA DS team submitting festivities.
Happy faces of the Office workers in the crowd, relieved to know that they no longer going to be asked : “ What the heck is tendonitis?” Cleaning lady, happy to know that she no longer will be startled by loud yells:” Give me decent 4 pointer, half of the Kingdom for decent 4 pointer”
I see quite happy Pablo in the crowd. He\can now, safely dismantle special devise, he constructed to shield his monitor from Holmovka’s praying eyes.
Smiling faces of Holmovka’s family members, who will get their father and husband back. ( Yes, Honey now it is finally time to take those Christmas decorations down)
Official part of the meeting opened by speech of “ Rainbow colored Stormbringers”team’s captain, Sergey Lagutin. I his usual laconic manner he said only one word: “ Ready” Next, cutting the line was the most rainbow colored of Stornbringers, who thanked his teammates for everything they will do for him in future, kissed and hugged entire team and cleaning lady also, Then shading customary single tear, declared that:” DDIFP can stop worrying about his mojo, because he oursprints his own mojo on regular basis and even his own mojo can hold his wheel!”
Finishing official part of the meeting, was speech of the team’s DS. He said; “ Dear Friends! Thank you to put up with me all this Team building time! Dear riders, I know that to make this team was harder then to be accepted to most Law and Medical schools. Competition was fears, and many many good and promising riders didn’t make it! But you did, and now only goal you have for the next 8 month is to not suck like team from the last year! And what ever you do, always remember one thing: Holmovka is allergic to Doughnuts!
With the sound of drum roll, Holmovka approached the Submit your Team button” But was outsprinted by “ The Most Rainbow One”, who won this race in most typical Sky fashion - No lead-out train for Ya!
Door of the birds cage opened and Rainbow colored Stormbringers took flight to the sky, almost colliding with lonely figure of Stijn Devolder, who was still orbiting planet since massive boot from the team, he received at the end of the last season.
Fly high, my proud Birds! And bring me Storms of the FSA DS points!

So yeah, cross season is just over, I know. But I have news! Next year, the GVA trophy is going to be different, with real time differences measured at the finish (limited to five minutes), so we'll have a sort of GC at the end. Interesting!
It's the final day of the Track World Cup - it's been a competition of incredible racing, with everyone loving the new London Olympic velodrome, full of happy fans and electric atmosphere. We're seen new world records, old rivalries, new talent, and races going right up to the wire. And there's still today left to go!
This afternoon you'll be able to have a choice of feeds - BBC2 from 2:45, where Jo Rowsell - Team & Individual Pursuit gold-medallist, and road cyclist with Matrix Prendas (aka DS Stef's Horizon Fitness!) - will be co-commentating, AND Eurosport too, from 3! As probably lots of you guys I was checking the web and looking for the latest news about our fave riders... And I found news about this guy Stephen Cummings poor dude had to leave Volta ao Algarve because of a broken pelvis...
This news gave me this idea of something we could use here.. An injury list or suspended people/riders, after all I believe is easier for 500+ people to drop a line here then surf every cycling web page out there to find who is hurt or not... Who got suspended, caught or missed a control..
Do you get the idea of this post? I will hate to submit my VDS team... Ooops FSA DS team then find out one of my riders is out for "x" amount of time... Makes sense? It does to me... Besides there is people here that has more time or just know where to find all this info, if it wasn't for you guys I would not know half of what I know..
