These deadlines reflect the fact that the first event on the respective calendars is the next day. For the women, that would be the Tour of New Zealand, followed by the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on Saturday. Basically, all of the stars of women's cycling will be in one place or the other by the end of next week! For the dudes, our traditional opener is always (and will be forever more) the Omloop. Picture your guys in a four-man breakaway, steaming for Gent, with nobody to chase them down. Or maybe that sounds a bit too much like Rabobank for comfort. Anyway, it'll be fun.

which means it will already be Wednesday in New Zealand, where the first race of the FSA-DS season is on that day.

I don't want to miss the deadline
but I’m too gunshy to submit my teams now. I just know that if I submit now, someone’s gonna have a bad training crash, or get popped for EPO, or get fired for being Matt Lloyd or something. Must stay the course!

Problem is it doesn’t count. I have Sagan, Greipel and EBH. Settle down lads, save it for when it counts.

First time!
Never played this game before, but what the hell, it should be fun. I don’t know all the riders as well as some here, but I went for ones that seem to have some upside over last year — either younger ones coming up or veterans that underperformed.

Deadline Day Decision Looming!
It’s about the French/Algerian rider at AG2R. For some reason I have it in my head he’s a good climber but I can’t remember, or find an article on the internet as to why I think that. Anyone know anything about him and if I’m just insane or he is actually a climber (dont answer that first part)?
